è situato a soli 50 metri dall'Università della Facoltà di Lingue in piazza Chiaramonte  dove è ubicata la Chiesa di San Francesco all'Immacolata, uno dei 18 Monumenti UNESCO, costruita sui resti del Vecchio Castello dei Chiaramonte, Conti di Ragusa dopo i Vespri Siciliani.  

Il suo sguardo a Oriente si immerge nell’intera vallata dove scorre l’antico fiume Irminio così chiamato da Dafni, inventore della poesia bucolica, in onore del padre Hermes.  

A poca distanza 200 metri è possibile visitare altri due Monumenti UNESCO: la chiesa di San Giorgio in piazza Duomo e la Chiesa di San Giuseppe in piazza Pola. 

Tra palme e limoni tra le pietre d’incanto del Barocco siciliano immersi nella storia.

The garden is located in the north-eastern part of the historical centre ibleo. Towards east runs the antique river Irminio which was called in this way by Dafni, the inventor of the bucolic poetry in honour of his father Hermes. In the surrounding mountains the caves of where the natives of Sicily once lived can be admired.

 

The garden is situated only 50 meters from the castle Chiaramonte. Chiaramonte is the name of an Earl family who lived at the castle in the years 1296 - 1392. After the tragic earthquake in 1693 where the castle was ruined, the castle was rebuilt into the church Francesco all’Immacolata. The admirable bell tower was constructed at the foundation of the ancient castle.

The traveller or the tourist who stays in this resort can experience the odours from the antique and from the fertile valley.
